I was looking for a part-time job where I could earn a couple of thousand dollars per month to supplement my retirement income.  I wanted to work my own hours and not report to anyone.  Obviously, I would have to work for myself. 

A  friend of mine was an Independent Insurance Broker. He worked  exclusively with Medicare eligible clients who needed Supplemental and  Medicare Advantage Plans. This seemed to be a good fit for my goals and  lifestyle.

I was told my first step was to obtain a Pennsylvania Health Insurance License.
